The aims of the Methodist Church Music Society

We want to to encourage and develop the use of all forms of music in worship
throughout the Methodist Church.

How do we do this?
By the experience of worship through:
  Our annual week-end conference (October)
  Arranging regional events

Developing resources for music in worship,
offered through:
  Our twice yearly magazine 'Notes'

  Our course 'Leading Music in Worship'
  Our 'Organ and Keyboards in Worship' Training
      scheme
   Our library and audio recordings
    service

Pastoral and financial support for those
involved in Methodist music through:
   Personal contact
   Long service certificates
   Bursaries and loans
Advice on the purchase and maintenance of musical instruments used in worship, including the relocation or disposal of organs, incorporated in the Organ Advisory Service

Relationships with other organisations, such as
   Connexional Music Advisers
   Creative Arts in Methodism
   Ecumenical and world church partners
